Osteopathic Physician

What is an Osteopathic Physician?

An osteopathic physician is a trained and licensed care provider who was trained by a medical school and passed their licensing exam. They specialize in the “whole person” approach to medicine instead of intervention treatments and surgeries. They focus strictly on preventive healthcare and receive extra training in musculoskeletal system.

Why do I need an Osteopathic physician?

  • If you prefer a more preventive approach to your health care.
  • You prefer someone who can spend more time one on one with you in the doctor’s office.
  • If you prefer a physician who has a more hands-on approach and is more experienced with the musculoskeletal system.
